Housing sales to foreigners decreased by 38.7% to 3.415 in March compared to the same month of the previous year. In March, the share of house sales to foreigners in total house sales was 3.2%. Antalya took the first place in house sales to foreigners with 1,324 house sales. Antalya was followed by Istanbul with 1,090 house sales and Mersin with 240 house sales, respectively.
In the January-March period, house sales to foreigners decreased by 23.8% compared to the same period of the previous year and became 10.926.
According to the nationality of the country, the most house sales were made to the citizens of the Russian Federation.
In March, citizens of the Russian Federation bought 1,175 houses from Turkey. Citizens of the Russian Federation were followed by Iran with 472 houses, Iraq with 165 houses and Ukraine with 160 houses.
