Defense News magazine has announced its Top 100 biggest defense companies for 2023.
According to the list, 4 Turkish companies are among the biggest companies. Turkish companies were listed as Aselsan (47th), TUSAŞ (58th), Roketsan (80th) and ASFAT (100th). Türkiye’s biggest drone-maker Baykar TECH could have found a place in the list but it preferred not to be listed. Baykar would be the third company among Turkish companies, had it been listed.
The US-based Sierra Nevada Corp., which is 57th in the list, is also owned by Turkish businessman.
