America’s ally problem against China

The US under Trump will likely cement ties with India, as US grand strategy will focus on containing China. This, together with Türkiye’s improving relations with China, and hostility with Israel, will further polarize the geopolitical space and harm Turkish-US relations.

In the longterm, Hindu nationalists will gain influence over US politics, using their influence together with that of their Zionist allies to craft a US foreign policy hostile towards the Sunni Islamic world and China.

This deadend policy will further weaken the US.

Since Obama, the US has been paralyzed in the Mideast, particularly in Syria. Further foreign policy paralysis should be viewed as an investment which yields no return: a nation can only manage this for so long, before it begins to suffer political collapse at home.

The US is already past this point- it’s exhausted and increasingly isolationist. India can’t hold its own weight; neither can Israel. Expecting a US besieged by fallout from its foreign policy blunders to support Israel/India for decades is folly.

If US State Department planners were intelligent, they would shift focus away from India, aid Pakistan so as to limit Chinese influence, and work with Türkiye in Africa and Central Asia against China. These are two critical growth engines for China, and Central Asia is a crucial connector region.

Instead, the US misses opportunity after opportunity due to the malign influence of foreign special interest groups.
