The Turkish-made Bayraktar AKINCI assault drone successfully completed its first firing test in Turkey’s western Sinop province with the KGK-SİHA-82 (wing-assisted guidance kit) developed by TUBİTAK, the country’s Scientific And Technological Research Council, reported BAYKAR Technology.
The target was hit from 30 km. Though a brand new drone, Akıncı is already used by three countries while more countries are in the queue to buy.
