Baykar Tech’s new drone Bayraktar TB3 is ready for the first flight. The company’s technical manager Selçuk Bayraktar shared photos of the brand-new UCAV in his twitter account.
The new type has folded wings and flies with 1.450 kg weight at maximum. Payload capacity is reported to be 280 kg. It will use a 170 HP engine produced by local company TEI. UCAV’s speed is expected to be 125/160 kts. It can take off from aircraft carriers that have at least a 150 m-long runway.
