Ukraine struck Russian territories with US-made ATACMS missiles for the first time. The attack came after the Biden administration permitted Ukrainian army to hit Russian targets inside Russia with American weapons.
According to reports, Ukraine targeted a military facility near Karachev in Russia’s Bryansk region, about 130 kilometers from the Ukrainian border.
Ukraine may use UK and French missiles to attack Russia, too, analysts say.
Biden’s last decision is regarded to show his desire to continue the war even if he leaves the White House. Trump had said he would stop the war when he takes power. Biden’s decision is also assumed as a move to put Trump in trouble and put the war into an irreversible course.
