US House of Representatives has passed a bipartisan bill aiming to ban TikTok in America. TikTok is accused of not protecting user data.
However, some congressmen overtly stated that they want to prevent the spread of Chinese technology. Yet, the basic reason, political pundits claim, is Israel’s request to ban it.
Israel is disturbed by its crimes being made viral through social media. While Facebook, Instagram, Youtube and Whatsapp censor Israel’s ongoing genocide as mentioned platforms are owned by Jewish businessmen, other platforms allow free flow of information.
