Netflix is planning to televise a TV series called Famagusta, which aims to mislead world audience about what happened in Cyprus before Turkish army had to intervene to restore the peaceful environment and prevent full invasion of the island by both Greek Cypriots and Greek junta.
Famagusta series claim that Greek Cypriots were displaced by Turkish army though the opposite happened. According to Emete Gözügüzelli, a Cyprus born academician, the goal is to demonize Turkish Cypriots and Türkiye through Famagusta TV series.
