Erdogan warns Israel after rumors that Mossad may assassinate Hamas leaders in Türkiye.
He said “Israel would pay a big price if it targets Hamas officials in Türkiye: If they dare to take such a step against Türkiye, against the Turks, they will be condemned to pay the price for it, never to be able to straighten their backs again. There is no one in the world who does not know how far Türkiye has come both in intelligence and security. No one should forget this.”
Turkish intelligence MIT had previously protected Israelis living in Türkiye from Iranian spies.
