Fetullah Gülen, the perpetrator of the failed coup attempted in July 15, 2o16 passes away, his media announces.
Gülen pretended to be a preacher for decades to gather followers around himself. Instead of teaching Islamic facts to his followers, he terrorized them, finally attempting to seize the Turkish state in 2016.
Gülen was seen by his spiritual leaders coming before prophets by his followers. However, his thoughts were all against Islam and harmed Islamic theology. He had denied many basic Islamic beliefs and asked his followers to live according to his religion-like views.
Despite acting like an Islamic scholar, he was rather a politician. His followers intervened politics not only through elections but also plots, lies, assassinations, infiltrating into the state, siphoning state revenues, and so on. He is also known for collaborating with CIA. There were so many CIA agents working as teachers in FETO schools across the world. In addition, soldiers loyal to Gülen had taken a large amount of military secrets and given them western countries.
Hid death is assumed to be a relief in Turkish politics as his followers are expected not to attack Türkiye as much as before. Analysts say FETO threat to Türkiye is almost over though not absolutely.
