Defense News Top 100 For 2024 List announced. This year, 5 Turkish companies were among the world’s 100 largest defense and aerospace companies.
The 2024 results of the Top 100 list, prepared by the US publication Defense News and updated every year with the financial figures of the previous year, were announced. While the Turkish defence and aerospace industry was represented by three companies in 2022 and four companies in 2023 in the list of the world’s 100 largest defence and aerospace companies, it reached five companies this year.
Turkish companies that made the list are as follows:
ASELSAN: ASELSAN, which ranked 47th in the list last year, ranked 42nd this year and became the highest ranked Turkish company on the list.
TAI: TAI, which ranked 58th on the list last year, rose to 50th place this year.
ROKETSAN: Roketsan, which entered the list from 96th place in 2019, rose to 89th place in 2020 and fell off the list in 2021, re-entered the list from 86th place in 2022. This year, Roketsan rose to 71st place.
MKE INC: The biggest surprise in the list was MKE A.Ş. Entering the list for the first time, MKE A.Ş. ranked 84th.
ASFAT: ASFAT, which ranked 100th in the previous list, rose to 94th place.
