After a year and a half, a ceasefire has finally been declared in Gaza. In that time, more than 50,000 people have been mercilessly massacred by Israel. Since the massacre was carried out with the support of the West and by Israel, the outpost of the West, it has been revealed how indifferent the West is to human life and values, and that it only considers occupation and death for those who do not belong to it. Even though many people, including myself, have been saying for decades that technological development is not the same as human development, and that the more technologically advanced cannot be morally advanced, we have not been able to convince the western fans. Maybe those who do not believe are also in the western mentality and are selfish. We do not know.
On the other hand, we have also learned that in order to triumph, it is better to believe in the cause and have courage than advanced weapons. Since October 7, 2023, Israel has been trying to destroy Hamas and occupy Gaza. But as we have seen, it has not succeeded. Their dream of building illegal villas in Gaza will not come true. Nor will they be able to send Gazans away. Worse, they have not been able to rescue their prisoners. Hamas is standing firm. The Israeli army has the most advanced weapons in the world. But it still did not succeed. The Israeli army was only able to occupy southern Syria, where nobody lives. If the Syrians had the strength to fight, they would not have been able to take over there either. To summarize, the dream of the promised land is likely to remain a dream. At least it has become clear that Gaza is not promised.
In fact, other parts of Palestine can be liberated from Israeli occupation like Gaza, but the people in other places need to claim their land like the Gazans. And the way to do that is to resist their own leaders before Israel. Unfortunately, the Palestinian Authority, led by Mahmoud Abbas, who controls the West Bank (which is what other states recognize as the Palestinian state), thought that they could rest easy if they were on friendly terms with Israel. They have even tried to destroy Hamas and other resistance groups, just like Israel. Just recently, Palestinian Authority forces killed some of the resistance fighters. While they were killing the resistance fighters, Israel was killing ordinary people in the West Bank. So even though they killed their own brothers and sisters, they were still not free from Israeli oppression.
And unfortunately, worse days await the West Bank. It seems that Trump has given the green light to Israel’s occupation of the West Bank. Soon there will be news of massacres in the West Bank. When that day comes, there will be no outside help for the Abbas administration. The only group that could help was the resistance and they killed them themselves. All these years of getting along with Israel will be rewarded with occupation. As a result, they will be making Israel’s job easier with their own hands and will help the realization of the Land of Desire in the West Bank.
Freedom does not come without a price. This is true for Palestine, and the Gaza Strip and the West Bank are the clearest proof of this. Gaza will win by resisting, while the West Bank will lose by not resisting. The blame for this lies with Mahmoud Abbas’s Fatah, which does not understand the character of Israel, and with some Arab countries that forced them to make a deal with Israel. They did not understand that everything comes back to the original. Just as the scorpion does not stop stinging, Israel has no mercy on the Palestinians and occupies their land.
The only solution in Palestine was to be brave. Hamas was brave and liberated Gaza from the Zionist occupation. Mahmoud Abbas and Fatah, on the other hand, will now lose the West Bank as a whole, not bit by bit, because they believed in false promises. So if there is courage, there is no promised land. If there is no courage, they will take your land and kill you or drive you out.
