If Trump challenges the establishment, the world could benefit.

Trump’s victory over Harris, backed by surprising voter support, hints that if he collaborates with the U.S. establishment, global implications could be positive.

The recent U.S. presidential election resulted in an overwhelming win for Donald Trump, defeating Kamala Harris, despite her backing from influential media figures and public personalities. Although Harris received significant funding and endorsements from youth icons, she failed to rally enough voter support, even losing ground that Biden had gained in 2020. Trump’s win extends beyond the presidency, dealing a heavy blow to the Democrats in Congress as well. In a unique twist, many Jewish voters backed Harris while Muslim voters supported Trump. If Trump can balance his policies with cooperation from the establishment, his leadership could have a meaningful impact worldwide.

The U.S. presidential elections concluded without meeting many expectations. After the previous elections, there was a storm in the Senate and “Let’s leave the USA” protests in some states following the 2016 elections. Yet, this year’s elections ended decisively with Donald Trump’s overwhelming victory, leaving no room for doubt.

This outcome surprised those who believed Trump’s influence had waned after Kamala Harris was chosen as the Democratic nominee instead of Joe Biden.

Harris, backed by media moguls, artists, academics, the U.S. deep state, Generation Z, and others, was anticipated to secure a win over Trump. However, she became one of the Democrats’ least successful candidates. To fully grasp the scale of this defeat: Harris failed to increase Biden’s 2020 vote count in any state, city, or even town.

This wasn’t the outcome they expected when Biden stepped aside for Harris, who became the nominee without facing primary elections. Internationally renowned artists penned opinion pieces, and youth-favored superstars like Taylor Swift encouraged support for Harris on social media. However, these high-engagement posts proved ineffective, much like the Democrats’ advantage in campaign contributions.

While Harris raised close to $1 billion in donations for her campaign, Trump’s donations totaled just $338 million. Yet voters prioritized issues like LGBT rights, abortion, and economic concerns. Trump won with 279 electoral votes to Harris’s 223. The Democrats not only lost the presidency by switching candidates at the last minute but also suffered major defeats in both the House of Representatives and the Senate.

After Trump’s victory was confirmed, Democratic voters began criticizing Trump supporters in a way reminiscent of CHP voters in Turkey. In fact, Turkey may be the first country where the export of political attitudes—alongside TV series and defense industry products—includes opposition sentiments.

One intriguing election outcome was that the Jewish population in the U.S. largely supported Harris, while Muslim voters backed Trump. Following the results, many noted that the new political landscape could spell trouble for Gaza. Under Biden and Harris, Gaza had not experienced the level of violence seen with previous administrations. Blinken, ranked among the world’s most influential Zionists, was a key figure in the Biden-Harris administration.

If Trump can set aside his combative style and find common ground with the U.S. establishment, this election could benefit not only the country but also the world. The rest matters less to us.
