Not only Türkiye but also Iraq’s Kurdistan regional government is disturbed by the PKK’s presence in Iraq.
Iraqi Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) Interior Minister Reber Ahmed stated that the terrorist organization PKK is the source of all the problems in the region and said, “(the terrorist organization PKK) must leave the territory of the Kurdistan Region.”
In a statement to members of the press, Ahmed commented on the termination of the terrorist organization PKK’s presence in the region.
“THE PKK MUST LEAVE THOSE AREAS IN ORDER TO AVOID HARDSHIP FOR THE PEOPLE OF THE REGION”
Noting that the presence of the terrorist organization PKK in the region is illegal, Ahmed said, “I am happy to say that the Iraqi government has recently decided that the PKK is a banned organization. The PKK must leave those regions so that the people of the region and the villagers there do not face problems and suffer.”
Ahmed emphasized that the terrorist organization PKK is the source of all the problems in the region and said, “(The terrorist organization PKK) must leave the territory of the Kurdistan Region.”
“PKK TERRORISTS ARE THE PERPETRATORS OF THE FIRES”
Iraqi Interior Ministry Spokesperson Mikdad Miri al-Musawi said on July 1 that the perpetrators of the recent fires in Kirkuk, Erbil and Dohuk were members of the PKK terrorist organization.
Al-Moussawi stated that those captured confessed in their statements that they were planning to set fires in other regions as well.
