Israel conducted a small scale attack on Iran last night. According to unverified reports, the attack was made with kamikaze drones, and the target was military facilities in Isfahan. No casualties has been reported till now.
The attack is regarded as retaliatory to Iran’s strike on Israeli targets on April 14, which was a response to Israel’s bombardment of Iranian embassy in Damascus on April 1.
Early comments by analysts underline that both countries saved faces by reciprocal attacks.
Meanwhile, Israel is expected to bombard Rafah city following yesterday’s attack. Washington had already greenlighted Israel upcoming brutal operation on Rafah.
