Addressing the Commemoration for July 15 Martyrs at the GNAT, President Erdoğan said: “July 15 is the victory of the nation and the national will, the victory of those who are fond of democracy. July 15 represents the victory of the truth over lies, the victory of justice over oppression, and the victory of freedom over humiliation. With the resistance on July 15, the nation both repelled a putsch and thwarted an attempt of invasion.”
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made a speech at the commemorative event for July 15 martyrs at the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (GNAT) on the occasion of the July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day.
“JULY 15 REPRESENTS THE VICTORY OF THE TRUTH OVER LIES”
Expressing his joy to be with members of the parliament at the Ghazi GNAT on the fifth anniversary of the July 15 victory, President Erdoğan said: “Before starting my remarks, I wish Allah’s mercy upon our heroic martyrs, who have sacrificed their lives for our country’s survival and our nation’s independence. I wish a healthy, auspicious and long life to all of our ghazis, who have had the honor of becoming a ghazi while fighting for the homeland and the nation. I extend my gratitude to each member of our nation who defended their freedom, adhan, flag, homeland, state and future that night.”
