Saudi Arabia Allows Umrah Pilgrims to Use Any International Airport in the Country

In a recent circular, the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) has directed all national and foreign airlines operating in the country to facilitate the Umrah pilgrims by allowing them to arrive and depart through any international airport in the country.

The General Authority of Civil Aviation of Saudi Arabia has decided to make Umrah pilgrims’ lives easier by allowing them to arrive and depart from any international airport in the country.


This action was taken to help pilgrims from all over the world, including India.

Previously, the Umrah pilgrims were only permitted to arrive and depart through King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah and Prince Mohammed Bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Madina.

Saudi Government Directs National and Foreign Airlines to Facilitate Umrah Pilgrims:

The General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) recently issued a circular directing all national and foreign airlines operating in the country, including private aviation, to assist Umrah pilgrims arriving and departing from the kingdom.

Failure to comply with the GACA’s directions would be considered a violation of the government’s order, according to the circular.

The GACA has also warned that legal action will be taken against violators who will be held accountable.
