Spain has a considerable success in football contests in Europe. Real Madrid being the most champions league winner, Spanish teams are always at the top of the competition.
Besides teams success, Spanish origin coaches’ achievements have been quite conspicious in recent years. Four out of eight quarter final qualifers in champions league have Spanish coaches. Pep Guardiola (Manchester City), Mikel Arteta (Arsenal), Luis Enrique (Paris St. Germain) and Xavi Hernandez (Barcelona) are all from Spain.
In addition, three Spanish coaches have put their teams in Top 5 in British Premier League. Also in Germany, Xabi Alonso’s Bayer Leverkusen is leading the league and will most probably raise the trophy.
