The total value of Emirati investments abroad, including both government and private sectors, to have reached $2.5 trillion by the beginning of 2024, says Jamal Bin Saif Al Jarwan, Secretary-General of the UAE International Investors Council (UAEIIC).
Al Jarwan said the deal with Egypt for the development of Ras Al Hekma is historic. As per the deal, the UAE will invest $35 billion in the region. With the new investment, the UAE’s total investment in Egypt will reach approximately $65 billion, Al Jarwan adds.
