Addressing AK Party’s parliamentary group meeting, President Erdoğan said: “The successes achieved in the field by our UAVs, products of the vision of National Technology Initiative, have led to results which have caused war strategies to be re-written, so to speak. Once Akıncı, the upper version of our current UAVs, is brought into play, the current landscape will change drastically. We aim to be one of the first countries to possess UCAVs controlled completely by artificial intelligence.”
President and Justice and Development (AK) Party Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made a speech at the party’s parliamentary group meeting.
“WE ARE ELIMINATING THE AREA OF MOVEMENT OF THE TERRORIST ORGANIZATION”
“We are about to stop the terrorist organization, which we have paralyzed inside our borders today, from being a threat beyond our Iraqi and Syrian borders as well,” President Erdoğan said, and noted: “Also, we are completely eliminating the area of movement of the terrorist organization by closely monitoring its political extensions within the limits of the rule of law.”
Underscoring that Turkey has also put up an uncompromising struggle against criminal organizations, President Erdoğan stated: “We have one by one crushed the criminal organizations, which had such an influence that would enable them to dominate and manipulate the political and social lives in the past, by depriving them of their means over the past 19 years.”
“180 BAYRAKTAR UAVS ARE OPERATIONAL IN FOUR DIFFERENT COUNTRIES”
Drawing attention to the meeting he held on Tuesday with President Andrzej Duda of Poland, President Erdoğan said that with the agreement signed following the meeting Turkey will export high-tech UAVs to a NATO and EU member state for the first time in its history, and added: “Currently, 180 Bayraktar UAVs are operational in four different countries, including Turkey. The successes achieved in the field by our UAVs, products of the vision of National Technology Initiative, have led to results which have caused war strategies to be re-written, so to speak. Once Akıncı, the upper version of our current UAVs, is brought into play, the current landscape will change drastically. We aim to be one of the first countries to possess UCAVs controlled completely by artificial intelligence.”
