Thanks to double-digit increases in passengers and revenue, Turkish Airlines’ operation profit rose to $2.9 billion in 2023, 3% from 2022. With investment activities are added, the profit hits $4 billion.
The revenue also surged, reaching $20.9 billion, which was $17.7 billion in 2022, thanks to rising numbers of passengers.
Turkish flag carrier’s passenger numbers increased 16% in one year to 83.4 million in 2023. 53 million of passengers were reported to be international travellers.
Cargo revenue fell by 30% year on year to $2.6 billion as the impact of the pandemic decreased.
