Turkish economy grew by 4% in the first quarter of 2023. Total GDP for Q1 became $245.5 billion.
Imports of goods and services increased by 14.4% as a chained volume index compared to the same quarter of the previous year, while exports decreased by 0.3%. Exports plunged due to the twin earthquakes in February.
Turkish GDP is expected reach or pass $1 billion at the end of the year.
