With the strong and steady growth of the air cargo sector in recent years, Turkish Technic, Turkish Airlines’ MRO subsidiary, have taken an important step to meet the high demand for passenger-cargo aircraft conversions in the market! The company said it carried out the first of the conversion operations at its Istanbul Ataturk Airport facilities, making it possible to give new life to aging passenger aircraft!
As the first MRO company in the world to collaborate directly with EFW on the A330P2F Program, it successfully cut the upper frame shell (UFS) of the first conversion aircraft and successfully installed the new UFS. This is an important milestone for the installation of the main deck cargo door.
“With our extensive structural and avionic modification capabilities, we will successfully complete passenger-cargo aircraft conversions and offer our customers the best possible performance”, the company said.
