Türkiye has restricted the export of 54 products to Israel due to the ongoing genocide in Gaza. Among restricted goods, there are aluminium, steel, cement chemical pesticides.

The export ban came after people intensified their protests for trade between Türkiye and Israel.
Israeli foreign minister Israel Katz has said they will respond tit for tat. However, he called friendly countries and American congressmen to take punitive measures against Türkiye.
Israel’s call is expected to have effect in among congressmen who get donations from Jewish lobbies and countries like Germany, which is complicit in genocide.
Meanwhile, Türkiye’s decision is expected to inflamw inflation in Turkish market.
