British finance analyst Robin Brooks has argued that Turkiye could be a boom story in economy. In one of his tweets, Brooks said “Turkey could be a boom story if it just tried a little bit of orthodoxy. Turkish exporters are very competitive, with export volumes far above the rest of EM (red). All it takes is a few central bank hikes & Turkey will boom, especially now that China is no longer the EM darling.”
