Turkey provides advanced force transfer, training, grants and arms sales support to friendly and allied countries to help them protect their homelands and increase their military capacities.
According to the statement made today at the weekly press briefing of the Ministry of National Defence, a dispatch ceremony will be held on 22 July at Aksaz Naval Base Command for two Tuzla Class Patrol Vessels, which will serve under the Naval Element Command to be established within the Qatar-Turkey Joint Joint Force Command.
Qatar is the second country, after Libya, where Turkey will deploy warships.
Analysts say, this activity of Turkey constitutes an important step for both Qatar and the geopolitical balance of the region.
