Türkiye will produce aircraft carriers and sell them abroad, Erdogan has disclosed
Turkish President Erdoğan said at IDEF’23 16th International Defense Industry Fair Closing Ceremony that “We will make an upper segment of TCG Anadolu. We have already started to receive orders.”
Currently, Turkish navy owns TCG Anadolu, an amphibious ship planned to be configured as a V/STOL aircraft carrier.
Erdogan’s statement discloses that Turkish ship builders will proceed to the production of aircraft carrier for both Turkish navy and foreign customers.
