Istanbul Chamber of Industry has announced Türkiye’s biggest 500 companies. Among them is a new company, namely Türkiye’nin Otomobili Girişim Grubu San. ve Tic. A.Ş., which produces first indigenous electric car TOGG. The company generated TRY 24.345.916.198 (approx. $800 million) only in last three months of 2023, the period when it started to sell its first model TX10. According to statistics, 19.583 units of TOGG were sold. With these sales, TOGG’s mother company became Türkiye’s 42th biggest company in its first year.
Produced in Bursa city, TOGG has sold 11.000 units as of May. The company might sell 30.000 units by the end of the year. Besides its SUV model, there will also be a car model of TOGG next year. TOGG will also started to be exported in late 2024.
