Two countries may recognize Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC)

Echoes of the 50th anniversary celebrations continue in the TRNC (Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus). Evaluating the celebrations to our newspaper, Zorlu Töre, the President of the TRNC Republican Assembly, said that they watched the landing and body show of the Turkish army with tears and great pride.
Noting that the Turkish world should urgently create a joint military pact based on the Gaza example, Töre said, ‘We have to start this project without wasting any time. In Cyprus, Mujahideen and Mehmetçik showed what this unity can achieve. After the Cyprus epic, Azerbaijan and the Turkish army brought the enemy to its knees in Karabakh. If we unite, no one can stand in front of us,’ he said.
Zorlu Töre stated that the whole world has now seen that the federation project has gone to waste and said: ‘Just as Turkey and Greece, Azerbaijan and Armenia, Ukraine and Russia cannot be federated, Greeks and Turkish Cypriots cannot unite under the roof of a federation. We have to build our future as two separate societies and states.’

SOON TWO COUNTRIES WILL RECOGNISE TRNC
Noting that at least two countries will recognise the TRNC in the near future, Töre continued his words as follows:
We have gained the right to representation as a part of the Organisation of Turkic States. We expect this to turn into recognition and brotherly countries such as Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan to recognise us. In these few days, we have seen the naval and air power of the Turkish army. This union is of great vital importance both for our rights in the Mediterranean and in order not to lose our ancient ancestral lands. We needed the military manoeuvre and the image of political unity given by President Erdoğan and the opposition in Cyprus. We were very honoured. The historical celebrations sharpened our consciousness.
