The US Embassy in Türkiye issues the following security warning regarding American companies operating in Türkiye:
– Protests critical of the US foreign policy, as well as calls for boycotting American companies are expected to continue
– In any gathering, be it even for peaceful reasons, tensions can escalate and turn into violence
– The recent protests at popular American cafes and fast food chains have disrupted daily business operations, leading to vandalism and damage, causing injuries to people at times
Recommendations:
– Be cautious and alert when at places that are openly associated with either the United States or Israel
