What do We Know Roketsan’s ÇAKIR Cruise Missile?

Roketsan is starting a new era in the defence industry with the ÇAKIR Cruise Missile. Introduced on 31 March 2022, ÇAKIR stands out with its advanced technology and superior features.

Innovative Concept and Flexible Use

ÇAKIR, as a product of Roketsan’s innovative concepts, draws attention with its flexible use with its ability to be launched from land, sea and air platforms. It has a range of 150+ km and can reach its target at high subsonic speed (0.75-0.85 Mach).

Superior Technological Features

ÇAKIR has a high striking power with its indigenous KTJ-1750 turbo-jet engine developed by Kale Arge and 70 kilogram warhead. It offers operators great flexibility in the field with its target change and mission cancellation capabilities.

A Power Hard to Stop

ÇAKIR is a difficult-to-detect missile with its near-water flight and terrain masking capabilities. With its radar absorbing hull structure and jamming-resistant GNSS, it can continue its navigation even in intense electronic jamming situations.

ÇAKIR Missile Family

ÇAKIR is being developed in four main groups:
1. Anti-Ship Missile
2. Electronic Warfare Missile
3. Cruise Missile
4. Swarm Sensor Cruise Missile

Each of them has been developed for different operational needs.

First in Turkey: Hybrid Seeker Head

ÇAKIR is the first in Turkey with its Hybrid Seeker Head technology. This technology increases the accuracy of reaching the target and offers effective use in different scenarios.

The ÇAKIR Cruise Missile brings a breath of fresh air to today’s warfare. With its advanced technology and flexible use, it sets new standards in the defence industry. ÇAKIR will have a major impact on the defence industry in Turkey and around the world.
