Donald Trump will appoint Massad Boulos, a Lebanese-American businessman and Trump’s daughter’s father-in-law, as his senior advisor for Middle East. Boulos was born to a Greek Orthodox family in Kfaraakka, Koura, Lebanon. He moved to Texas as a teenager, where he obtained a law degree at the University of Houston Law Center. He supported Trump’s presidential campaign in the 2024 United States presidential election, and canvassed for the support of Arab Americans, particularly in Michigan.
Boulos gave an interview to French newspaper Le Point a few days ago. He briefly said;
The vision is to achieve lasting peace in the Middle East. We have four years to work and we hope to achieve something that will be sustainable for the future and generations to come.
Hezbollah should not have arms in Lebanon.
No hurry to elect a Lebanese president.

Turkey should not replace Qatar in the role of mediator between Israel, the United States and Hamas.
